The site is allocated for redevelopment within Reading Borough Council’s emerging Local Plan and falls within Reading’s ‘tall buildings policy’ area.

The site represents part of a comprehensive redevelopment strategy for the Station Area and is of unique importance in helping to deliver the strategy for how Reading will develop in the future. Further information on the Reading Central Area Action Plan (RCAAP) can be read here.

Our proposal seeks to replace the existing Station Shopping Park with a high quality mixed-use scheme to support the development of the new station quarter into an enjoyable place to work, live in and to visit.
